About the authors

Sharon Marshall Lockett, M.S. is the founder and director of Educational Innovations/SCORE, a specialized program that helps high-risk students prepare for college and/or a career—a program validated by the United States Department of Education for its effectiveness. She Co-directs the Divorce and Grief Recovery Program at the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California, where her book, Surviving Separation and Divorce serves as one of the textbooks. Sharon is also the author of several other books and numerous publications in the field of personal growth and education, and is a leader of retreats, workshops, and seminars.

Dick Innes, M.A. is the Founder and Director of ACTS International and ACTS Communications. He is also the Director of Publications of the Narramore Christian Foundation (NCF), a Christian mental health organization located in Southern California, and the editor of the NCF magazine, Psychology for Living. He is also an Instructor in the Divorce and Grief Recovery ministry at the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California.

He has authored three books: the best seller, I Hate Witnessing (with almost 100,000 copies in print), How to Mend a Broken Heart, and his latest, You Can't Fly With a Broken Wing.
